After the group escapes from the Backrooms, Issei and his new friends all decided to deal with some issues back at Remnant, once they were done. They took a small break. A few months after that, many of them settle in the Kuoh Academy, and decide to study there. Which is when, one day, one of Issei's friends Jade Arc comes across a unique piece, sensing that this piece was not of this world and from another world, she decided to try to find it's location and eventually she wonders if she can bring more objects from that world. As she builds a machine to do so, she was almost ready to show it's demonstration once it is ready. However they were attacked by the Khaos Brigade, causing the machine to go haywire. This was a part of Rizevim's plan who came to know about this machine. However, unknown to everyone, the machine's explosion summoned something unexpected to their world.
