Harry Potter thought he had it all. He defeated Voldemort, and fell in love and got married to Ginny Weasley. However, a few days later some of the Weasleys, and the rest of the order, declared Harry as the next Dark Lord. Ginny broke it off and revealed she only wanted his money. Since then, he has been on the run. Almost everyone he knew abandoned him. What's worse, Dumbledore's alive and cruel. All the Slytherins, and few Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs, along with Fleur, Victor, professor McGonagall, Neville, Luna, Hermione, Draco, Arthur, Bill, Charlie and George, protected Harry. Slowly, each was killed till only Draco was left, and on the run. The day Harry got the news that Draco was caught and given the dementors kiss, he released his magic on him and killed himself. What Harry didn't realise was that Magic was horrified with the unfolding events and gave Harry, along with few of his friends, a chance to redo everything. Harry's wish, acknowledged by Magic, is to go back in time, save Tom and defeat the true Dark Lord and his minions.

In order to save your life, you had to be bonded immediately to your soulmate, and only then would the curse begin to purge itself from your system." "And... And you were able to figure that out?" Severus swallowed. "There's more to it, I'm afraid," he told him. "As it seems, your soulmate has been found, which is why you were able to awaken."

Post-war. Twenty-one-year-old Harry Potter is disillusioned with the Auror Corps as he has some residual spell damage and can no longer partake in active field duty. The young wizard is regulated to his desk at the ministry, and thinks that he should be doing more and not getting "special treatment", as it were. Severus Snape, now the Deputy Headmaster, has become a bit of a recluse, and is only seen in his potions classes or at mealtimes, and spends the rest of his time brewing. None of the professors can get through to him, as the man doesn't seem to want to listen. Minerva McGonagall, now the Headmistress of Hogwarts, decides that enough is enough, and so she hires Harry as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, in the hopes of filling the position, and getting Severus out of his funk.

Harry is taken in by those he thought ment him harm, but he soon learns they will teach him things he never thought he could do. Making a few new friends along the way, Harry finds himself growing more attached to a place he never thouht he could call home. And maybe, just maybe, the Boy-Who-Lived can be the Boy-Who-Loves
