Growing up, I always heard people telling my dad why is he teaching me about survival. What's the point? Those skills won't be useful in this modern day of age. Why would you need to know how to use weapons like a Bow or tell the difference between some planets or fruits? But my old man never listened and good thing he didn't. My mom on the other hand taught me basic life skills I need in my day to day life like sewing and cooking. My mom was definitely more of an indoor, creative person so it's a mystery how she ended up with an outdoorsy, adventure man like my dad. But hey they say opposites attract and they are definitely proof of that. But I was never one for love. It can get complicated and it doesn't seem like something I would need during high school of all times. High school is already complicated without the need of getting romance involved. But who knows, maybe that's entirely true and I might change my mind or maybe not. Only time will tell.

Fix-It-Siblings is a well known arcade game in Litwak's Family Fun Center Arcade. It's roughly thirty years old and is one of the oldest games in the arcade. It follows a simple concept. You play as one of the Fix-It siblings and you have to fix the penthouse that is being destroyed by Wreck-It-Ralph. Fix the building and get a medal. You can even play 2 players and play as both siblings though most tend to play single player. Simple. But what happens when a certain player doesn't want to continue this lifestyle? What if they decide to risk the game and go Turbo? And along the way, meet some fun racers. *Note: This will only follow the first movie and I want to try something. This is my original story but there are some similarities to her's, so please go show her stories some love because she definitely deserves it. Runawaying from Redshore city wasn't my plan but I felt trapped in that city. You never could make it unless you had connections or were from a famous family and that's not how I wanted it to go. I love to sing and my best friend got me into dance. Now I love going with the flow and letting the music take over my body. I ran away from my home with nothing but my skateboard, guitar and a back full with anything I could shove inside of it. Now I live in a studio apartment, making my own songs with choreography for them and casually posting the audio of the song or the actual dance video on the internet because why not. I work at a skate shop to help pay my bills and to stay out of trouble with the police since I've gotten in trouble with them a couple of times for street performing without a license. But like my best friend used to say, "You're only in trouble if you get caught" and I never did, so now I just chat up with them to pass some time or to help someone. When I heard of a singing competition I thought it couldn't hurt. I mean I might be able to win a nice prize and get some more publicity for my music, which was more important to me then some cash prize but it would be nice.

So this is just a little special for Halloween. To be honest, a Netflix SING Halloween short was not on my 2024 bingo card, let alone seeing the characters do the iconic Thriller dance. But here we are and I'm not mad about it. And this is SING so let's add it to my fan-fic universe. Now, obviously this short takes place after the second movie but I'll add this at the end of my fic, after chapter 46. Though, if SING 3 were to be made, I think it'll probably take place before chapter 35. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Anyway, on with this special and happy halloween. And just a friendly reminder, this is a human AU, in case you forgot. I also want to apologize for the description of the iconic Thriller dance, I am sorry. I followed along with a dance tutorial and this was the end result as I had to use the language they used since I don't know any better given that I'm not a dancer. I know it sounds rough. Side story to Sing To My Heart. You don't need to read it first to understand the story but this is the more expanded story of the side love story from Out of This World. I just really liked this idea and I wanted to give it more of a story than just those few musical numbers. The original idea of the show was from @OneArtsyGamer03 Star crossed lovers is a trope as old as time. There are many stories based on this trope with all of them being referred to as a take on Romeo and Juliet. I never understood why this trope was popular or why there were many versions. Royal and Commoner. Human and Non-human. Rival clans. I always wonder why these are so popular. Not to mention they must be so sad if you actually lived through it. Growing up, I was never really allowed to leave my castle so I always read these stories. However I never would have expected to be living on my own. It's almost surreal but I know better. After all, not all stories get a happy ending. And who's to say mine will get one.
