Meta-abilities-extraordinary powers that appeared across humanity-have become so common that the world now mirrors the comic book fantasies of old. Known as Quirks, these abilities shape heroes, villains, and the fragile balance between them. Yet what history fails to remember is this: Humanity has held power before. Annabeth Chase had a good life in District 3. Her father died in the 52nd Hunger Games, and her mother died giving birth to her. She had to go live with her great-aunt, Hestia, who loved her unconditionally. She really didn't have any friends, but as far as Annabeth was concerned, she didn't need any. All she wanted to do was read and practice her knife-throwing. But everything changed when her name was called at the Reaping. Suddenly, Annabeth only has a few days before she's thrust into an arena, where everyone will try to kill her. To win, Annabeth will have to rely on her most dangerous weapon; her mind. But plans can get a lot more complicated when you add in an unexpected variable; a boy from District 4 who Annabeth is having conflicting feelings for. Let the 69th Hunger Games begin.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III and Astrid Helena Hofferson discover a dangerous secret about the dragon's nest. They promise to keep it to themselves until the Dragon Training finales are over, but things don't go to plan. When Hiccup is nearly killed by the Monstrous Nightmare, Toothless runs into the village to rescue him and only ends up being seen. Hiccup and Astrid try to stop their tribe from attacking the Night Fury, but nothing works. The only choice they have is to flee, before them or Toothless get hurt. When they regroup in the cove, the teens make the decision to leave Berk and start a new life together. Stoick commandeers a search party to find his son and the Hofferson, but when they come up empty-handed the Chief vows to kill the dragon responsible. Three Years pass, Hiccup and Astrid discover more about the outside world with every new day. When Hiccup is captured and sold off to the highest bidder, Astrid realises that her love for the Dragon Master is more than just friendship. Hiccup and Astrid are reunited, after a crazy rescue mission and their feelings are finally aired. Trouble brews for the Dragon Riders, when war between the hunters and them breaks out, with the riders allies taking refuge on Hadan. After months of planning Hiccup and Astrid are married and declared the King and Queen of Hadan, both more than ready for the task. Years go by, Berk grows into poverty as Stoick neglects his duty to care for his people and puts his first. However, when the threat of four Warlords and an armada of dragon hunters appear on the archipelago's doorstep, Stoick is brought back to his senses. The Northern tribes are out of options and prepare to surrender, but when a glimmer of hope shines through in an unexpected way. The tribes agree to send a message of peace to a tribe in the far south-west, that have befriended the Vikings worst enemy, The Dragons. How will Berk react when they discover the King and Queen were once one of their own.

The Blood Moon Festival is a deadly competition that selects the next generation of dragon riders. Most competitors spend their childhood honing their Divine - a rare, godlike power typically found in the ruling class. But Raven Black, a poor orphan with an unusually powerful Divine, spent her childhood breaking more laws than she can count. At sixteen, Raven's list of crimes is taller than she is, and she is paying the price for it. Caught and sentenced to death after a heist gone wrong, Raven figures her luck has finally run out. That is until a dragon rider sees potential in Raven's Divine and offers her a chance to avoid execution by competing in the Blood Moon Festival. With no other choice, Raven enters Skydescent, a castle where contestants train and form alliances. As the only ex-criminal, Raven figured she would be the most cutthroat, her competitors too worried about honor to get their hands dirty. But in Scadril, a powerful dragon is honor. 128 competitors enter the Blood Moon Festival, and each will do whatever it takes to come out on top.
