Rock was solid - not just in form, but in soul. Steady, dependable, grounded. Scissors, sharp and erratic, danced through life like a gust of wind through a battlefield - always moving, always cutting too close to the edge. The two had been inseparable since the day they met. Then came Paper. Soft, kind, with a smile that could fold around your worries and smooth them into calm. Rock liked Paper. Scissors did too. And for a while, the three were perfect - a balance no one expected. They laughed. They played. They belonged. Or so Scissors thought. - Or...
