Newt is assigned to tutor Thomas in math and they soon become very close. Newt is a year older than Thomas and is quite nerdy and reserved. Thomas meanwhile, is very curious and instantly wants to get to know the blonde better; he is also on the track team.

Newt has a snobby, rich family that never leaves him alone about his love life. It's not that he doesn't have one- oh he does. His family is just full of homophobic assholes, aside from his lovely mother, of course.
