Through thousands of cycles, the Mad Prince finally realised something that in hindsight should have been obvious from the beginning. He was mad. He was well and truly crazy. Even if he managed to escape the Tomb of Ariel, he wouldn't be in a proper state to greet any of his friends. Thus, he devised a plan, a plan to purge himself of the supernatural madness and corruption that festered within him. A plan, to become a less mad prince.
