The calm seemed universal throughout the group until Tim's phone rang. "Oh shit, it's Bruce." Immediately all of them were on alert scanning the surrounding area while Tim talked on the phone, panic in his eyes. "He was on the other side of the park for a walk between meetings and saw a picture of us walking in the park online," Tim said as soon as he hung up. "Wait wait wait" Nico said as Jason looked like he was preparing to literally throw him into the tree. "Bruce as in Bruce Wayne? You're the Wayne's?! And why are you acting like he's gonna shoot me on sight?" "He's gonna shoot adoption papers at you." Damian mumbled, once again begrudgingly reviving a high five from Tim and Dick. Jason just rolled his eyes as he made his hands a step for Nico to get in the tree. "Yes we're the Wayne's. How do you know of us, but not have a clue what we look like?" Nico climbed onto the lowest branch that was a good six feet off the ground. There was a bit of confusion in Gotham City as of late. Several of the locals have been filing reports of seeing what appeared to be a flying bronze reptile with what looked like two teenagers upon its back. This recent development has thrown the infamous Batman for a loop. For the life of him, he couldn't find any trace of the flying object, only having the local's word to go by. Somehow they had successfully avoided being caught in any of the cameras around the city, even though the people who had managed to see it said that the object was bigger than even your average car. Batman sighed before running a hand through his tangled locks for the umpteenth time. He had been working on trying to figure this out for several hours and glanced at the clock's glaring red numbers to see that it was already four in the morning. Glaring at the clock with the slightest bit of betrayal, he got up to go change into something other than his Batman suit. Bruce Wayne went to bed in a feeble attempt to get some shut-eye, resolving to ask Tim to help him look more into it tomorrow. --In other words: Leo shows up in Gotham and causes some chaos for Batman and the boys. Articles upon articles on this girl having performed incredible feats- surviving kidnappings, gunfights, property destruction, evading the police, among other things. "I guess we'll start in Manhattan. That's apparently where she lived at the time of the earliest article." Artemis skimmed back through the first article on her phone. They had all taken to looking her up themselves since it was just that easy. "Sounds like a plan, but we shouldn't go quite yet. We need to be careful, so the League doesn't catch on." Robin said, to which they all nodded in agreement. They all retreated back into the mountain and went to either the Zeta tubes or their rooms, depending on where they resided.
