Dean Winchester has never been able to open up. Not even to the most important people in his life: is brother sam and his best friend the angel Castiel. As a hunter, emotions are more a setback than an advantage. One night, his emotions get the best of him and dean gets drunk. What happens when Castiel finds dean crying to himself, drunk in his bed? The angels have fallen. Castiel lost his grace, and is now a human. He experiences hunger, cold, need, but still pondered at the thought of love. Dean takes him under his wing and helps him understand his new way of life; every aspect. Even though his grace is lost, the affair between a man and an angel is forbidden. Not to mention, an angel and a Winchester. In addition to the internal conflicts between the two, they also have to worry about the bounty put on Castiel's head by the other fallen angels.

Castiel never liked people, and although he has nothing against his college room mate Dean personally, he finds that Dean is no exception. But Dean seems to like Cas like no one ever has before, and Cas is starting to think maybe people aren't all bad.
