Jonathan/Sebastian kills Clary right in front of Jace- or so he thinks. Clary's body was never found. Clary was rescued from a group of shadowhunters from the future, who trained her for two years and gave her a disguise rune. Clary comes to live at the institute again under a new name but can't tell Jace or anyone who she really is. She now has to conceal her feelings.
