A different take on my favorite couple...instances from the show if the story was written differently. Meerab and Murtasim get married under the same circumstances, but they don't have a contract.

The khans and the maliks are rivals feudal families with decades old land dispute. The hatred between them runs deep until two marriages turn revenge into responsibility. They will pay the price of their siblings love or they will find their happily ever after?

This is how I wanted the story to go forward from the episode 46. Obviously MR is out of the picture. So, I have written the confrontation, the consummation and the aftermath of how it should all have happened according to me. I think it was about time Meerab took charge and take a hold of the situation in the relationship actively and I needed a moment of breaking point for Murtasim's character without sullying him or making him beg infront of Meerab. The last 5 min of the last episode also gave me an ick, Meerab still did not confess her love and just let him kneel infront of her and heard him say how he would be as she wanted. That was not love, that to me was complete annihilation of both their characters, and Meeerab who prized herself in her identity should not let the man she loves be ready to lose and sacrifice his. So I am trying to fix these plotholes and tie the loose ends and still keep their characters intact.

Navy Captain Murtasim Khan, who married a second time for his daughter after his first wife left him, left the country for a case without seeing his wife. Two months later, without informing anyone, he came back to the country. His second wife, Meerab, was playing with her daughter and suddenly hugged him, thinking he was her daughter. She opened her eyes a moment later, not recognizing him, and shouted at him, calling him a thief. Just then, Murtasim's daughter ran up and hugged Murtasim and said in front of Meerab, "Papa, Papa, you've arrived." Meerab said in surprise, "Papa? Twinkle, is this your father?" Twinkle hugged Murtasim and smiled with a triumphant smile and said, "Yes, Bunny! This is my father. You know, my father is a Navy Captain. Murtasim Khan." "I,,,I really didn't recognize you, I'm so sorry." As Murtasim walked away without saying a word, carrying Twinkle in his arms, Meerab spoke again, "I said sorry, I didn't think you'd be back today."
