Athena Brooks grew up in District 4, with the salty smell of fish and the luscious flow of waves crashing against sand. However, she is abnormal from everyone else in Panem. Athena is the product of two districts: 4 and 11. Even though the mixing of districts has been non existent for decades, Athena was created by her parents - who were tributes in the 51st Hunger Games. Only her Mother came out alive. Athena's lifetime best friend, Finnick Odair, got reaped for the 65th Hunger Games and became victorious. However, he returned a shadow of his past self and pretended that Athena didn't exist. Now, it's time for the 67th Hunger Games, where another two tributes will be selected from District 4 to participate. Who will be the next pair to volunteer to fight for survival?
