"And that means I'll get hurt...because that's just the way you are!" I said, hoping he would correct me. "You're right." He said simply after a long pause. "You're right." She was new; he was jaded. She was oblivious; he knew all too well. She was innocent; he was everything but. And anyone who looked at the two would know just how wrong they were together. Yet there was no denying the obvious fire that seemed to heat every time they were near each other. I received a text from Julianna, several of them. "What do you want babe?" "Come down." "Where are you?" There wasn't a response back from her and I heard noises coming from downstairs. I got out of bed and into the hallway, where the lights unexpectedly started to go on and off. I heard the noise once more, so I tiptoed down the stairs. It was pitch black, until I saw a trail of blood heading towards the living room and so I followed it. I saw her, I saw her sitting on a chair tied up, crying, with duck tape across her mouth. She has small, but deep cuts on all over her body. I quickly walked towards her to untie the rope and slowly ripping off the tape. "LOUIS, BEHIND YOU," she shrieked. I quickly turned around and felt this sharp pain going through my stomach, knowing already that I was stabbed. The voices in the background were as if it was muffled and the last thing I saw was Julianna putting pressure on my wound, telling me that it'll be okay.
