I felt as though he had to be with her at such a time as a support and this is when Pen starts realising how lonely she is in this marriage. Here he is not staying with her.

I just finished binge watching Bridgerton and I loved it! Colin and Penelope deserved more screen time and I just finished reading the 4th Bridgerton book that is focused on them and I just wanted to see more of them. Seeing that there are not many fanfics about them I of course took the liberty of writing one my self.
