Martijn Garritsen, otherwise known as world famous DJ, Martin Garrix, has been placed on a one year break by his label Spinnin Records and his parents to get his act together after excessive partying, underage drinking and everything else that goes along with clubbing every night. He's expected to go back to school and finish the degree he started in music production. Martin is sent to America to live with the Lorden's and get his life back on track. Zoe Lorden is the youngest of the family and the most ambitious. At 18, she's ready for Harvard Law School. She has a plan and a purpose for her future and nothing will get in her way. Well. That was until she met Martin.

Madi is just your average 17 year old girl, right? Not quite. She has a huge dream of becoming a world-renowned DJ, like Hardwell, her idol. She despises people like Martin Garrix, who she thinks aren't liked for their talent, but rather for their looks and young age. So of course, who moves into the house next door? Martin Garrix.
