She didn't know why her parents had to be the ones to die. She could only watch as the demon devoured her parents. She was horrified. Once the demon finished feeding off her parents, it left the house and her alone. She sat in her parent's blood for days... waiting. But one day, a stranger walked into the house and found Y/n. This stranger was a demon slayer and not just any demon slayer, it was a Hashira, the Flame Hashira to be precise: Shinjuro Rengoku. The moment he saw her and her condition, he immediately took her back to the Demon Slayer Corp to check with the doctors to see if she had any wounds. When the doctors at the Demon Slayer Corp examined her body for wounds, they didn't find any but noticed that she was very dehydrated and malnourished. Once she got water and food, she began regaining strength. Shinjuro continuously checked in on her because he wanted to make sure she was safe and was doing better, but the real reason was that he began seeing her as his own daughter. When she was fully healthy again, the doctors and other Hashira were deciding what to do with her. Shinjuro stepped up and said that he would take her. The other Hashira were shocked but agreed because he also had two other children and it would be perfect for her.
