After Alex meets Henry at the Rio Olympics, Alex wants nothing to do with Henry ever again. But with his mom running for President, he is sent away from the media circus surrounding him in the US to a British boarding school for a semester. But his mother sends him with a mission: befriend Prince Henry. From Alex's POV like in the novel. I'm going to try to keep this one kind of short (10-ish chaps) because I tend to bite off more than I chew (this is my 3rd RWRB fanfic in 2 months, none are finished- but working on all of them promise, I hate leaving things unfinished- but I'm also in my final semester of university so please be patient). Alex hates his semester abroad in London. There's no good coffee, the accents drive him up the wall, and the weather makes him even more miserable. He's certain that he'll carry on hating it forever until fate steps in and introduces him to Pez and Henry. Henry, the pretentious knob in his literature class. Henry who, apparently, is actually a lot different than Alex assumed. They become fast friends which is great. And totally explains why Alex is jealous of Henry's new boyfriend. Right?

Alt Canon - Alex is drunk, leaving a party and still thinking about Henry's kiss on New Year's Day all those months ago. Despite the fact he's finally replying back to Alex's texts like nothing happened, the latter keeps dropping hints - the one he's about to leave will really screw him over though. Or maybe, if he's lucky, it won't.

Henry and Alex have been officially invited to the wedding of Prince of Luxembourg Ivor as the Prince and his suitor. Henry has some ties from the past with Ivor's younger brother Felix, which leads to Alex's protective side come out.

Alex is on the dancefloor when it happens. There's no sign anything is amiss, until a series of gunshots cuts though the air. Back in London however, Henry's whole world is falling apart. [or, the one where Alex attends a nightclub in Austin on a day like any other and it's all history from there]
