1 year after the final human left Aperture Laboratory another human was found. Memory loss caused them to be confused, but to their luck a core has come to help them-despite the core's short attention span. GLaDOS takes on the task of emulating a human brain, but to do it, she needs a role model. With Caroline's help, GLaDOS takes on learning to hear music, but learns quite a lot of other things she never even thought about.

This puts my OC in the situation of a test subject stuck in Aperture Science. I don't own any of the Portal games or any of the characters. All rights to Portal and Half Life go to Valve.

In a time when the events of Portal or Portal 2 never happened, you have woken up from a deep sleep, greeted by GLaDOS, a robotic machine who will guide you through the many portal-adapted chambers of Aperture Science. However, GLaDOS seems bent on making sure you continue testing... forever. She won't let anybody halt her testing. Getting in her way risks death. And maybe a cake. (Note: I do NOT own Valve or the Portal series. This is just a fun little fanfiction story.)
