Amos University is a prestigious institute with a thousand years of history. Mage families send their sons to Amos to learn their craft, make connections with other families, and prepare for their future. Mixing magic and young men promises that no one year is boring. Club rivalries, hazing, and missed assignments can become a matter of life and death. But underneath it all there are predictable variables, controls placed over the students to prevent certain apocalyptic type events from happening. There are natural laws to magic which no mage can change or cross. Such as: all mages are male. In body or soul, every mage is male. Until Naena. A bastard from the Western Cape, Naena has spent the previous three years living on the streets. She is uneducated and lacking in certain social niceties. Her mother was once a maid to a mage family, learning a coded language as a young mage in the house did, but nothing else is known about the woman except her name. The men who find Naena are determined to keep her alive long enough to find out what her appearance means. The students are both wary and intrigued. While the faculty are forced to take on the first female mage in the history of the world, nothing says they need to help her with her studies. Or to stay alive.

I will be your heart, if you will be my shield. In a world where magic supposedly didn't exist, Serena has spent years struggling to conceal her unpredictable singing magic. While wishing for a peaceful life where she can sing without fear, she sees a man in handcuffs being forced into a shady research center. Their eyes meet, and the soulbond is forged. Darien is not from this world, and he's been held captive for years. With the soulbond amplifying his strength, he can fight his way through almost everything, but not every danger can be fought with fists. Their love draws them together even as power-hungry enemies try to pry them apart. They want to control Darien for their own purposes, but he's too strong to be controlled by force. Their love is their greatest strength-and their biggest vulnerability. But magic has its own rules, and no song can go unanswered. Excerpt: I pitied the man, although with so many cops around him, he was quite dangerous. Who needed 30 police officers to supervise one guy who in handcuffs and leg shackles? I watched him walk down the gauntlet between the rows of officers. It was as if I couldn't look away. He paused and looked around. His brilliant glowing blue eyes seemed to meet mine across the vast distance. I couldn't even blink as his eyes seemed to hold mine. The trees of a park broke our locked gaze as the bus kept on driving. I took a deep breath, suddenly realizing that I had stopped breathing the moment our eyes met. I had never seen such blue eyes before-and they glowed! A shiver ran through me. I had been too far away to make out the color of the man's eyes. My eyes watched the trees, hoping for a break in them so I could see the man again. I had no such luck. --- Fade-to-black action fantasy romance Copyright November 2017. What do you get when you mix a trader woman, a cursed werewolf, a dangerous forest, and a sadistic warlord? Nothing good. On her way home from a summer of trading, Olivia didn't want to hire a cursed werewolf as an escort, but he was the only one willing to guide her over the treacherous Navier mountains. Not only do they have to contend with bandits and dangerous animals lurking among the trees, but they also have to dodge unscrupulous war parties who are determined to track them down. They forgot one thing though - curses don't play by the rules. ---------------- Please note that this is NOT a love-at-first-sight or matebond werewolf style of book, nor does it have werewolf ranks like Alphas, Betas, or Omegas. This book isn't a horror story. It's more of a fantasy-adventure theme. This book has nothing in common with my other werewolf stories. Copyright March 2022. All Rights Reserved. The final exams of Levi Hartell’s junior year of high school begin tomorrow; once he is finished, then so is the school year! However, it is doubtful that he will even make it to senior year, or that anyone will. In the news, there have been cases of a “zombie disease”, evident in pockets of the world. Naturally, these stories never worry Levi—he doesn’t believe in zombies, and the incidents only exist in big cities. Eventually, Z Flu reaches New York City. Then, it slowly creeps its way into New Jersey while Levi is in school, resulting in a mandatory lockdown of the whole facility. When people are confined for hours, though, they become reckless and begin to make foolish decisions—decisions so foolish that they could allow zombies into the school. Find out what happens when Influenza Z infects Levi’s classmates, teachers, loved ones, and maybe even Levi himself… Rated PG-13 for mild profanity and frequent violence.
