I know Linstead is gone and won't be back, but I'm still a fan of the two together, so I'm writing this fanfiction. I hope you enjoy reading and maybe give me some feedback. I don't own any of the original PD characters, they're all belonging to Dick Wolf.

This is an AU LINSTEAD story! Jay Halstead is working in the Intelligence Unit, and has a four year old daughter. He begins working with Erin Lindsay, a social worker, who took on the case as a favor to Voight.

Erin Lindsay a former intelligence unit detective turned FBI agent returns to Chicago and has to confront her decisions, secrets and past in order to have a life with Jay Halstead. Definitely AU has something's that line up with end of season 4 Chicago PD but, other stuff does not.

5 years since she took the job. But when they find each other how is going to be? Might be two shots or a whole story don't know yet.

Erin is back in town planning her mom's funeral with her daughter when she ran into am old friend and Jay finds out she's back and needs her help investigateing someone. NBC The carters don't belong to me they belong to Dick wolf

Since I really like Linstead and there is a lot that the two have never experienced together, I thought I could write it myself. It's an alternate start for PD. I don't own any of the original characters.

This story based on 2 years after Erin left to go to New York to take a job to keep Bunny out of jail. I kept Alvin Olinksey alive in the story as well. At first the connection between Jay and Erin is tense but they soon find their way back into each other's lives.
