This story is my view of what might have happened after season two of Agents of SHIELD! Fitz is living with constant reminders that his best friend and more was stuck inside of an alien rock. The team work hard to try and repair the damage that her leaving him had left, however only one thing can make him truly happy. And that thing is Jemma Simmons.

Fitz intended on celebrating Valentines Day with Simmons like a normal couple, but they ended up discussing the origin of the holiday and the mating patterns of birds. But you can't really blame them, because, I mean, they're Fitzsimmons. My entry for the Valentines fanfic contest.
