When Aries takes a quiet technician job at a shut-down sister branch of Frenni's Pizzaplex, he thinks he's finally found somewhere he can disappear. Born with a condition that makes him look much younger than he is, he's used to being underestimated, dismissed, and watched with suspicion. A dusty, forgotten "broken location" where no one ever goes sounds perfect.
But this Pizzaplex isn't empty.
Behind the cracked neon and dead monitors, the animatronics still roam: Frenni, the soft-spoken star who seems a little too protective of him; Bonfie, the playful bunny who won't stop flirting; Chiku, who cooks midnight meals no one ordered; Fexa and Lexy, rival pirate girls whose fights shake the whole building; Mingle, whose teasing smile hides something broken; Ivory, the gentle bard bear who hums lullabies that sound like old cries for help; and Marie Onette, the puppet shopkeeper who knows far too much about everyone.
They look, move, and feel almost completely human-warm skin, real tears, beating hearts that shouldn't exist. Aries is drawn to them despite the unsettling glitches: blood-stained error logs, moments where their eyes go empty, and the way they sometimes call him by another name.
As Aries begins to fall for the girls-and they, in different ways, fall for him-he uncovers the truth: Henry didn't close this location because it was failing. William, the technician and hidden serial killer, used this place as a testing ground, binding human feelings and memories into metal and synthetic flesh. Now those emotions are waking up... and they're possessive, jealous, and desperate not to be abandoned again.
Caught between warm, fragile affection and the creeping terror in the walls, Aries must decide:
Is this broken location his first real home... or a beautiful trap built to love him to death?
