This leaves the Justice League divided, either allying with Clark or allying with Bruce. Seeing that Superman was right in killing Joker, Andrea Beaumont has decided to go back to being the Phantasm and allies herself with the corrupted Man of Steel, putting a strain on her relationship with Kevin and his father. With his family more broken now than ever, Kevin must overcome his damaged relationship with his estranged mother and must become a hero like his father, determined to stop Superman's new regime and rescue heroes that are missing.
