I do not own any of these characters. This is a tale of how I wanted to see the revival continue instead of ending with just those words.

Picking up where the revival left off, we find Rory and Logan making their own way. They say there are two sides to every story. Chapters 1-35 are from Rory's POV. The half chapters are from Logan's POV. They are a one-for-one match to each Rory chapter. Can read them together if you'd like, or you could choose to read them as two separate stories! :-) That's the fun with this one! Disclaimer: I do not own these characters. It seems that no matter how much time passes by, the big questions left by Gilmore Girls 'A Year in the Life' still remain. Who was the father of Rory's baby? How committed was Logan to the Dynastic plan? Would Rory bring up her child alone as her mother had? It's time to go back to Stars Hollow once more and try to get some closure. But first, it's off to London to see how Logan is doing since saying goodbye to Rory at New Hampshire.

If you've not seen A Year in the Life yet then this will contain spoilers! Following on from the final 4 words - story is centred around Rory/Logan and what happens next... Logan told Rory goodbye at her graduation, and he meant it. Didn't he? She wouldn't compromise for him so he couldn't for her in the end. He moved to California, and she hit the campaign trail. Their lives moved in separate directions, and they worked hard to get over each other. But what if their lives take them back in the same direction again? Can they fight the attraction that has always been there? Can they look past all the hurt and finally realize what they could have together? Will they let fate dictate their lives or will they find out that it's something other than fate that is pushing them together?

This story picks up six years after A Year In The Life ended. Rory and Logan's son is five and starting kindergarten.

This is what I think would have happened after Logan and Rory left the birthday party that evening.

It's time for the Gilmore Christmas party...the last one in Hartford before Emily finally sells it. Rory had only told a few important people about the pregnancy, but it seemed that fate would be changing that...starting now.

Post AYITL with flashes to the original series. The last 2 words left Rory's lips, & she knew in that moment, nothing would ever be the same. The man she loved was marrying someone else and now she was pregnant. How did things get so screwed up. Logan knew that once she turned him down, there was no point in delaying his marriage to Odette. I'm not great at summaries.

*Completed Story* Taking place five years after the Season seven ending, this was my take on what could of happened. Please let me know what you think.
