Vedha was holding her baby in her arms, her back resting against the inclined hospital bed adjusted for her comfort. The baby was nursing at her breast, tiny gulps filling the quiet room. Slowly, she leaned forward and kissed the baby's forehead. She touched her daughter's tiny hands and feet, still in disbelief that this life had been growing inside her just hours ago-and now, here she was, her newborn nestled in her arms, suckling gently, a moment of pure, painful beauty cradled in her arms. "You are filth... an unwanted filth in my life," Vedha whispered. With that, she jolted awake. She was alone in her hospital bed, the dream fading into the sterile scent of the hospital room. Her mother, Radha, who had been sitting in the chair beside her, panicked at the sudden movement. "Vedha, what happened?" she asked anxiously. Vedha, still dazed, shook her head slowly. She glanced down at her breast-it was leaking milk. Her breasts felt swollen and painful. Her body had begun to produce milk. Even though she had rejected motherhood, her body hadn't. "Amma, look at this. Do something," Vedha said, her voice edged with discomfort. The urgency in her daughter's voice snapped Radha out of her thoughts. She nodded and said, "Wait, I'll ask the doctor," before hurrying out of the room. Inside the doctor's cabin, Radha explained the situation. The doctor listened patiently and then said, "Since you're already a mother of two, I don't need to explain to you the importance of breastfeeding. Try to convince her husband to bring the baby, even if just for a few days. It will ease her pain and be good for the child. If feeding isn't an option, we'll have to start medication to stop the milk production. The choice is yours now." Radha nodded thoughtfully and left the room. She had made up her mind to speak to Arjun-one last time.

His eyes bore into hers with a mix of anger and possessiveness that made her blood run cold. Her mind raced, desperately trying to think of a way to escape. "Let me go!" she cried, her voice trembling. She tried to pull away, but he only tightened his grip, his other hand moving to her waist to hold her closer. "I wish I had never met you!" Deepika's voice echoed across the classroom, each word a dagger to my heart. "Excellent! At least we finally agree on something!" I fired back, even as a tear betrayed the storm of emotions within me. With those final, stinging words, Deepika stormed out, leaving a heavy silence in her wake. The classroom felt like a graveyard, and I stood there, rooted to the spot, desperately wishing I could chase after her and demand the truth. Maybe letting her go was the right choice. Perhaps this is meant to be my unfinished love story, a tale of what-ifs and almosts. ✨ No Deepika. This can't be his bike. Not Arjun's. But I couldn't deny what I saw-the familiar brown Royal Enfield, now twisted and crushed. My heart hammered as I circled around, hoping, praying it wasn't true, until my gaze landed on the number plate: TN56 0809. Arjun's bike. Deepika! Stop imagining things! Arjun would be fine! I felt the world shift, the noise around me blurring into a single, deafening hum. Ambulance and police sirens echoed, and a stranger's voice broke through: "Two boys. Spot dead. College students." I clutched my chest, gasping for air as reality slammed into me. "Arjun..." I whispered, barely holding myself together. Tears stung my face as I sank beside the wreck. "No, Please, No!" My voice cracked as the weight of regret settled in, suffocating me. ✨ Ex-Crush: More than just a crush, but a little less than love. ✨ Arjun and Deepika were hopelessly in love-only they never realized it. Will they find their way to each other, or will their love story remain forever unfinished? ✨ Join Arjun and Deepika on a journey back to those dreamy college days-days where every moment felt eternal, love was unspoken yet ever present, where friendship bloomed like wildflowers, offering a sanctuary from the harsh winds of reality. The story is set in early 1990s in a rural area. A bond is formed due to the promise of honour and respect. A marriage out of necessity and maybe a little bit of obsession. A girl filled with the hope of love and a guy completely enamored by her. How will their life unfold? ☆Warning :This story contains mature themes. It is completely fictional and based upon my imagination. It is inspired by the serial named "Begusarai". But only inspired, the story is completely mine. As I said before this is based in a rural area so am just giving you guys a heads up if anybody feels offended. Readers discretion is advised.
