IN WHICH she enters TaskForce 141 to assist in battle and encounters dire decision-making, former enemies, and unexpected feelings for the other lieutenant along the way. ♤ ♤ ♤ Clara Spade ended up in TaskForce 141 with the sole purpose of fighting. She was a lieutenant whose main goal was to survive and protect, and so was his. She was a notable feared soldier by many, but so was he. To him, Clara was an irrelevant newcomer to the team that he initially viewed as another reputed killer. As they continue to fight alongside one another, she gradually proves him wrong by displaying beyond-comparable qualities, all of which ultimately leave him marvellously intrigued.

Demi was an aspiring, contractual marksmen who had been hired by Task Force 141. She was a solo gal, a "sniper for hire" she called herself, and she liked it that way. Mainly, because unlike other contractual soldiers, Demi collected her pay directly, as she didn't have a company to take most of her profits; allowing her to have enough money to be able to take care of her family. Getting up in her years, 141 reached out to her, as her skills, and experience had been proven to be of great use to them. Bummed at the fact that she was on the brink of retirement, she planned to help win one more war, before calling it quits. With the help of the notorious "Simon Riley" she wholeheartedly believed that this mission would be a breeze, and another victory in her scrapbook. However, God had other plans for Demi, and she soon found that her peaceful year-long stay wasn't all that it seemed. Who knew 3 simple words could mean an almost certain demise for her very successful marksmen career?
