An assassination attempt forces Neuvillette and Wriothesley to work together. But the case ends up getting a lot more complicated than they had thought it would. And so does their feelings towards each other.

Wriothesley takes it upon himself to investigate the sudden disappearances of melusines when Sigewinne doesn't return from her sudden day off. This leads him straight to the Chief Justice himself, only to find that Neuvillette too seems to have taken a few days off. Warning! This story, while just like my other stories, doesn't have smut, unlike my previous stories it is on the more mature side, here and there (mostly some jokes). Read at your own discretion. Neuvillette was in heat. He hated heats, it took his self control and destroyed it for an entire day out of the year. But this year was different. He was called to work and tries to push his feelings deep down, but has a very hard time when the man who stands for everything he is against walks through the door to steal something from him. Or, a story in which Neuvillette is at Wriothesley's feet, begging to be pleasured.
