Milo Whitlock is as ordinary as you or me, only he has what some people would call "super powers." He refers to them, rather, as a curse. I just call them.. unusual abilities. When he and his family moves away because Milo's past is catching up to him, Milo finds that maybe he can have friends, maybe he can have a good life. But those thoughts are shattered when he and his newfound friends get kidnapped, and he is forced to use his unusual abilities if they want to get out. That's only half of Milo's problems, because with his unusual abilities comes.. an unusual side effect. Milo has a copy of himself, a clone, you may call him. And he's not very happy with Milo being content.

Over seventy years ago, before the Great War of Regrets, humans began mutating randomly to have what is known as elemental powers, primarily showing in young children. Of the powers shown amongst humans, a few rare powers emerge causing rifts within the Kingdom of Alytha and the School for the Gifted: Glasswood. Freya Ellis discovers one fateful night to have the most rare power among everyone: the power to steal another's power. With the threat that she can take anyone's gift away at any moment, Freya is shunned within Glasswood because of her gifts. When the Royal Family of Alytha visits Glasswood for a festival and stay longer than normal, Freya's world of insecurity comes crashing down. This is one of my earlier stories, and I'll get around to properly editing another time. Yes, I'm procrastinating. I don't really know what to do for a description, and the prologue is too long so you'll just have to trust me when I say it's interesting. :D This is not the official cover, I do have one, but I can't find out how to upload it.. I just want to note: This is NOT a furry story, I starting writing this long before I knew what a furry was.

He woke up in a hospital, doesn't know why he's there, doesn't know who he is, doesn't even know how he got there, and he's got a real bad headache. He's got a head wound the size of a baseball, he can't see with his right eye, and no matter how hard he tries, he can't get a straight answer for anything, except that mineshaft workers found him crystalized and immediately flew him to the 'hospital.' Nobody could figure out how long he was in the crystal, and the only thing he could remember was his name. I really hope you enjoy! Like my previous books, I haven't gotten a cover for it but I'm working on it:)
