"Smoking is bad, you know." The placid voice speaks up from the distant dark corner, nothing to see but a tall silhouette and an orange glow of a cigarette cherry. "It's the least of my problems," I murmur with my own between my lips, proceeding to feel the stagnant debris valley my throat when I suck delicately. He exhales a chuckle of cynical amusement, his footsteps getting every step clearer to my eardrums until I eventually sense body heat burning my back. "And why is that?" He whispers over my shoulder, hands inviting themselves to grip the railing in front of me so I become a prisoner between his inked arms. I swallow. "Because you'll be the one to kill me first." // Aven Brooks is hired to take pictures for the world-renown punk rock band known today as Duplicity; hoping the experience gets her into her most elite-dreamed university. However, when her lenses accidentally capture more than just cheeky sound checks and performances, she comes to a horrifying discovery that Duplicity is anything but a band. Appalled and frightened, she's trapped. *HIGHEST RANKINGS* #1 IN HARRYSTYLES #1 IN ONEDIRECTION ALL RIGHTS RESERVED TO @happydays1d NOT ALLOWING TRANSLATIONS! WARNING: UNDER REWRITING AND HEAVY EDITING Read at your own risk! Life started off complicated for young Eleanor Ross after being born to a muggle mother while showing her magical capabilities at an early age. Growing up in a household where her mother fears her, Eleanor mostly finds herself isolated from the outside world as her mother intends on keeping Eleanor's abilities a secret. However, Eleanor finds relief after she turns eleven years old when a letter arrives in the post and a woman comes knocking on her door to reveal that Eleanor is a witch. While things do not necessarily become easier for the mother and daughter, Eleanor finally finds a place where she can fit in at none other than Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A few years later, Eleanor is caught up the middle of the pranking chaos that is brought on by none other than Fred and George Weasley. No student or professor is deemed safe as the twins have dedicated their fifth year to pranking everyone in the castle. So far, it's been a piece of cake until they attempt to prank Eleanor, the unsuspecting Hufflepuff. At first, they are convinced that it was a simple miscalculation but as the prank, after prank fails, something is up. Fred finds his curiosity piqued when he witnesses one of the pranks literally bounce off the girl and becomes more than determined to figure out how Eleanor is dodging their mischievous ways. He wants to figure out her ways, but he and George have to get out of detention first. 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊 πŽππ„ π–π€π“π“π˜ π–πˆπππ„π‘ πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ”

Her biggest fear is of herself. -- Seventeen year old Jessica Stacey-Lance went from a preteen with severe anger management issues and trauma to a teenager who makes out (read: sleeps) with her almost-step-brother's best friend and struggles to pass her Spanish class. She's always come off as normal - as normal as one can be when they're unknowingly surrounded by superheroes and hiding a secret backstory. But one night changes everything. While Jess has always stayed out of the loop, a chaotic power she thought was long gone has come back and it's caught the attention of some dangerous people. Suddenly, dealing with her feelings for Richard Grayson, trading scathing insults with Roy and trying to keep her best friends (and herself) out of trouble have all become the least of her worries. She's a little busy keeping a secret that, if outed, could lead to others finding out a lot more than just the fact that she can hold crumbling bridge together or contain explosions that could destroy ten story buildings. But sometimes, death and destruction follow regardless of your secrets. Jessica is about to find out that accepting the part of yourself that scares you the most is the only way to defeat your demons... that the power inside of her that can bring Superman to his knees is more than a weapon - it's a part of her that will not be denied, no matter the consequences. This is a Dick Grayson/Young Justice fanfic. It's not totally canonically correct and dismisses a large portion of the second season. Honestly you could probably read this with only knowledge of the general info on DC comics and be fine.

If you lived in Gotham long enough you knew exactly who she was. People feared her. Criminals praised her. Heroes wanted to stop her. Key word, "wanted." But you don't always get what you want, now do you? Brielle Kyle. Otherwise known as Blackout. A young femme fatale- Catwoman's partner, never sidekick. (People knew what would happen if you called her that). She was a criminal by day, and still criminal by night; one of the youngest, most mischievous enemies to the infamous Gotham vigilante, Batman. One day, the Young Justice team manages to catch her, but just by a hair. And that hair was all the Dark Knight needed to swoop in and take her down. Well, more or less. After all, she isn't the "world's greatest escape artist" for nothing. - [ Young Justice (2010) ] [ season one ] [ @alexaveil ]

"You just got Gilmored." ≻───── β‹†βœ©β‹† ─────≺ Sage Gilmore was-well, a Gilmore, to say the least. Sarcastic, smart, kind, outspoken, dramatic. The usual when you're dealing with Gilmore's. But she wasn't an absolute golden child like her twin, Rory. She was good, yes, but she could also handle herself. She did what she wanted, much like her mother in that way. But overall, she was good. Yeah, she made mistakes, she wasn't perfect. She knew that. But she was good. Jess Mariano was the textbook definition of a bad boy. Rude, arrogant, conceited, and unregretfully charming. People aren't really his thing, they never have been. He doesn't get along with anyone. Constantly getting into fights, barley passing in school. His dad left and his mom's a mess. Leaving him to get stuck living with his uncle, in a small town outside of New York. He isn't innocent, but neither is she. She's constantly warned about 'falling for the bad boy', but maybe, deep down he wasn't so bad. And maybe, deep down, she wasn't as good as everyone thought she was.
