At 3:17 a.m. every night, the silence of Bangkok is broken by a call on Oom Eisaya's phone. No caller ID, no name-just heavy breathing and soft, muffled crying. Oom, an investigative journalist burdened by guilt, endures this phantom ritual until the night the caller finally speaks: "Oom... help me."
The voice belongs to Bam Saralee, Oom's former lover and partner who mysteriously vanished six months ago and was officially declared dead. Refusing to believe she is grieving a ghost, Oom spirals into a dark, consuming obsession to trace the call.
Her relentless search plunges her into Bangkok's underbelly, uncovering a horrifying network of systemic corruption, human trafficking, and medical experimentation where missing women are erased from existence. Along the way, Oom relies on a fragile network of allies: Lena and Miu, a lethal pair from the criminal underground balancing survival with fiercely protective love; LingLing and Orm, an elite prosecutor and forensic pathologist fighting the corrupted legal system from within; and Tan and Yuyu, tech-savvy safehouse operators providing a sanctuary amidst the chaos.
As Oom draws closer to Bam, the boundary between love, delusion, and obsession blurs. When she finally finds Bam, she discovers that rescue is only the beginning-the real horror lies in what Bam was forced to become, and how far Oom will go to keep them both alive.
