Dan The Alien is a spin off story from a previously posted story, The Pathfinder Mission, however it is not necessary to have read that story first. If you check this story out I hope you enjoy it.

'Not entirely sure just where this is gonna go just yet' is what I put here when I first posted part one of this story. Now complete and edited. This little project had become a bit longer than what I expected it might when I begin writing it. A few ideas had been around for this for a while so I am glad I got around to writing it.

The idea for this story came from a photo which I came across on my FaceBook news feed one day. This photo was of a large clear bottle laying on a beach on a bright clear day. Inside this bottle sat a memory stick, so I got to thinking what could be on a memory stick like this? Who might find it? And what would they do with whatever was found to be on this memory stick? So what I got is a modern day message in a bottle story that became a little longer than I anticipated, though one I am very happy with and glad I got around to write.

What if an AI could find and contact members of the homeless community and give them the option of coming to a place especially designed for them, provide them with food, shelter, clothing, medical care and the likes ... would it want something back in return?

An individual is one that exists as a distinct entity. Individuality is the quality that makes a person different from other people. If no man is an island, then what is an island populated by one man, multitudes of one man? The magical joys of youth ... the infinite sadness of realization ... this is TERRENCE ISLAND.
