Charles and Max are both worried about what will happen after the end of the 2023 season. With three months to do nothing- to just sit and wait to see each other again, in opposite sides of the same city. But it seems like they can't avoid each other no matter if there's a race or not... This is a slow burn, angst filled and not completely "IRL" compliant fic. Some things like race results, names and places aren't changed- but Max and Charles are both single, both live in the same city and are falling for each other at an alarming rate. Their names symbolizes the POV you're in, even if everything is written in third person! There will be NSFW in this fic- but it'll be mentioned in the beginning of the chapter if you want to avoid it!
