One day, on his way to get food, he encountered an interesting swordsman and exchanged blows for no longer than ten minutes before being stabbed through the back, and finding out said swordsman was actually his deadbeat father, who had abandoned him even before birth. Whether luck be on his side or otherwise, he happened to be chosen by a certain being higher than even that of a God. He was given the chance to transfer his soul to another world and reincarnate with another chance at life, where he can protect his family and friends this time around.

When he went to reach out, he saw small hands, one of a baby. But before he could reach an understanding of his situation, he was suddenly turned around, and faces he only remembered from a Novel and Webcomic he read, Vincent and Tabitha Helstea. He realized something very important on these steps to the Helstea mansion, he was in his favorite Novel, The Beginning After the End. He knows what's to come in just over a decade, and now he has to wrack his brain to find a solution to what's ahead, but will fate be just as it was envisioned by the author, or will it break away into a realm unknown? I want to say that I am not a professional writer, nor do I own anything regarding TBATE, everything from the original story, setting, people, all belong to the fabulous Arthur TurtleMe. If you have not read TBATE, I would highly suggest doing so before taking the deep dive into any fanfiction like this one... which I am considering considering this is made by a fan, and not at all cohesive to the actual story.
