This book is a compilation of poems. This is for those who have a broken soul trapped in a tired, restless body. Every piece of your brokenness will fit in each word, and every part of you will be in every chapter. Be with the book, as it will continue to be written until one's soul heals, broken hearts are fixed, wounds are no longer bleeding, and an equal love is no longer a myth.

"I'm tired of being treated like a child. I'm grown!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm not even gonna lie, this story is based off my high school experience along with hella fiction to add drama and be more interesting. If you've read Mystery Over History, this is basically Cari's life before Kelly.

"Are you sure this nigga is about you? You never know, he could be just tryna fuck. I mean, why would he blow off almost four years with his girlfriend for you?" Jayda asked and I shrugged. "The same thing I asked myself." I said watching the Wizards's practice and the coach blew the whistle as Kelly glanced over to me and winked, causing me to blush. "You're forgetting the biggest problem... Cari, you have a boyfriend." Jordyn said referring to my boyfriend of a year and a half, Rashad. Whose uncle is the coach of the Wizards and that's how we even got in to watch the practice. "I don't wanna just let go of Rashad, but at the same time I wanna see how far me and Kelly can go. It's like the things you shouldn't have are good for you." I said and Jayda shook her head. "Both of you are sneaky. Haven't you heard of history over mystery?" Jordyn asked and I bit my lip as Kelly smirked at me before he made a three pointer. "Yeah, but maybe this time it should be the other way around." Completed : December 25, 2015
