1868, London. We are in the era of Queen Victoria's reign and the Industrial Revolution. The protagonist of the story is Adaline Lanchester, the only child of a British noble family. By the passing of time, their romance is blossoming more and more, but Adaline makes enemies as well. Soon, the man she fell in love with reveals his true identity to Adaline and he does not hide anymore the fact that he is fighting for the freedom of London. Furthermore, Jacob tells the woman that the blood of crooks sticks to his hands, he tells about the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order that threatens the city. However, that's not all, because soon it turns out that Adaline is not the fragile woman that so many people think she is. For those who've read my other story, you're going to recognize the OC, and you've found me out: she's my go-to gall.
