Kaedehara Kazuha is a collage student majoring in music. He leads a humble life in a camper and works as a part-time sword-fighting instructor and, whenever an opportunity arises, doing odd jobs in order to sustain himself. One day, he's approached by a to-be detective, Shikanoin Heizou, who at the time is investigating a case. They end up drinking together and with the help of alcohol their relationship progresses much quicker than Kazuha would hope for.
