Leaving Woodsboro felt like growing wings, freedom. I was only sixteen when I left, right after Maureen Prescott's murder. It wasn't fair to the people I loved; I left my best friends and siblings behind because I was sick of this town, I was sick of hiding. I needed to find myself, to be myself fully, loudly. Truth was, I was irrevocably in love with Sidney Prescott and I couldn't feel that way in Woodsboro, not in 1996. I never thought I would come back a year later but I had to when my twin sister Tatum called me in a state of panic I'd never witnessed before. If I had known what was going to happen, maybe I wouldn't have jumped in my car and drove "home". This story is mainly inspired by the scream movies but it won't follow the exact same timeline because I want to had some details and therefore I need to create my own timeline.
