The only difference between her and every other girl in New York, is that instead of being a secretary for a massive law firm like she told people; she was, in fact, an agent for the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division or S.H.I.E.L.D. (previously known as the S.S.R.). The only things that covered her story was that the S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters was hidden in the law building she supposedly worked in and her ability to lie so easily. When Captain Rogers steps back into her life suddenly, will she drop everything and run into his loving arms or will she fight her feelings and be loyal to Scott? And will the fates be kind and leave her and the one she chooses alone to live a happy life, or will the world come tumbling down around them? This is a Steggy (Steve x Peggy) fanfiction. Containing a small amount of strong language, scenes of violence and some gruesome descriptions. This story contains some of Marvel's characters and some of my own.

One clumsy accident later and Alexis wakes up in hospital a month after, but she isn't the same.
