Phil is not the most important boy at school, and Dan is just trying to fit in. What happens when their lives suddenly collide, and start something that none of them ever thought would happen. Warnings: violence, abuse, swearing, (smut).

"Do you know when you're a kid and you think dandelions are the most beautiful thing, and you pick them for your mom and she'd put them in a vase? But then when you get older their beauty dies out cause there just a weed, a waste of space." i fiddled with my jacket. "Dan, I'm the little kid. I think your the most beautiful thing ever. But your the older person cause you don't see the beauty that the kid sees."

Phil doesn't have a best friend in his life. That is, until Dan turns up at his school. They become close and Phil finds out that Dan has a twin brother, but hates to talk about him. It's not until Phil comes over to Dan's house that he finds out why.

Dan Howell is a timid boy, who always does as he is told. He was once friends with Phil Lester, the 'bad influence' who soon ditches Dan for the popular group in Year 7. After five years of not talking to each other, they're partnered in a project and Phil's wants to win Dan over just like he has with most of their year. But yet, Dan is determined to find out what Phil is hiding behind his arrogant mask.

Dan is a firm believer that love doesn't exist. Not in adults, and definitely not in high school. He detests silly love stories and petty relationships, posing as 'love', and nothing could possibly change his mind in that. But when new student Phil takes an intrest in Dan, he can't deny that he's interested in the boy. His bubbly personality and hopeless romantic ways draw Dan in.....and might just change his mind in the thoughts of love.
