With Marinette dismissed from the team and Adrien discovering the identity of his teammates, they chose Isabella as the new holder of the Ladybug Miraculous. Along the way, things start to slowly change. Connor and Mei grow closer together, Adrien slowly starts to fall for Isabella, a Japanese fencer named Kagami joins the school, causing Francis to fall for her and Juleka's older brother, Luka Couffaine starts to capture Rydell's heart. Alya focuses on her new Miraculous Column, Rydell starts to focus on music Nino focuses on his new movie project, and Chloé focuses on being nicer to her classmates.
