Dean Winchester is a local mechanic in the town of Lawrence, Kansas working for Singer Automobiles. On a quick coffee run, he meets Castiel, a high school math teacher with the most beautiful eyes and most adorable personality. Dean immediately introduces himself and asks the young man for his number, but unfortunately Castiel Novak is no where near looking for a relationship. But, Dean is not willing to give up that easily. He meets up with Castiel as much as he can, and keeps trying to ask him out on a date. However, Castiel's past catches up to him, and he can't bear to think about dating again, especially when having to take care of his beloved child, Jack. What happens when Dean doesn't give up? Castiel is a "functioning-single father" who is trying his best to raise his energetic and happy toddler, Jack. Dean is the anxious yet macho big brother returning home to escape the past behind him. These two meet and though it seems they come from different backgrounds, they grow close. Watch as these two grow in their relationship and close past ones all while trying to raise a toddler.

In an attempt to get Castiel's family to stop setting him up, Dean agrees to pretend to be Cas's boyfriend for an evening. But when circumstances force the boys to continue their fake relationship, can they continue to deny their feelings for one another? Also, when a mysterious danger appears in their lives, can the boys survive it while trying to maintain their relationship?

Cas, Dean, and Sam have been hunting together and splitting off to take smaller jobs. The story starts with the three of them on three separate hunts. Cas is human and wounded. He shows up at Dean's motel in need of help. What proceeds is the two of them meeting up with Sam and going on an involved hunt, over the course of which Dean and Cas slowly figure out their feelings for each other. Lots of awkwardness (in a good way), some mild angst, comfort, and eventually fluff and smut.

Dean and Castiel are married now, and they couldn't be happier. Their life is finally making sense. But then an old ex of Dean's, Angel, becomes a mechanic at the shop where he works, and he rekindles a friendship with her. Although Dean has no ideas of romance, Cas can't seem to let it go, and Dean must figure out how to convince Cas that there is only one angel he truly loves.

Castiel never liked people, and although he has nothing against his college room mate Dean personally, he finds that Dean is no exception. But Dean seems to like Cas like no one ever has before, and Cas is starting to think maybe people aren't all bad.

Dean Winchester and Castiel Novak have been friends ever since they met each other at the all night cookie shop in their freshman year of college. Now they're seniors, and while Dean is nicknamed "playboy" by everyone on campus and lives up to the name, Cas hasn't been on a date since sophmore year. One night, Dean decides to take Cas out, show him some moves, and hopefully help him get laid. The two of them have an amazing time, but one of them comes home thinking maybe they want to be more than friends after all.

Charlie has been best friends with Castiel Novak for a long time. Since they were seven, they've been through a lot. Charlie has known Cas is gay for several years now, but he still refuses to admit it. But then Dean Winchester shows up for their junior year of high school, cocky and confident, and Charlie sees her chance. She just has to figure out how to convince Cas and Dean that they belong together.
