Liam Dunbar finds a photo of Theo Raeken on his phone from before everything went wrong and can't stop thinking about what might be happening to him in the Skinwalker prison. When he acts on his impulse, Theo Raeken comes back a little different.

Theo, a spoilt prince cursed by an old woman after he refused her shelter. Cursed to remain a beast until he can prove he has a heart, to prove he can show true kindness. Liam, a bookworm and the towns weirdo. While everyone else froths over the towns hottie also known as Brett, Liam would rather have his head in a book. They're on their own, though there isn't much trouble that they know of that lies ahead. Liam, however has his own problems to deal with. Namely: Theo Raeken. He'd promised Scott that he would keep an eye on the Chimera; things will be rocky at first, but they'll eventually pull through. (Or at least Liam hopes so.)

After Liam Dunbar was kicked out of his college for getting into a fight, he lands in Beacon Hills college where his best friend, ex girlfriend and bully attends. He struggled to feed himself and stay warm. So why would two toddlers be given to him of all people? How could Theo Raeken possibly take care of children when he can barely take care of himself?
