Everyone in Fair City is turned into monsters, leaving an unexpected hero - Dr. Two-Brains - to try and invent a cure to take back the city. He begins to make headway, thinking he'll finally be able to rescue the people he begrudgingly loves, when Glen Furlblam shows up, sent by the monster superiors to take down the doctor and destroy his newly-finished cure. Tensions rise as the two are forced to come to terms with more than just their opposing sides in the monster takeover. (The scariest thing about this monster au isn't the leading monster role (honestly, the monster element isn't scary at all lol), it's the lack of writing skillz, haha. This is entirely just a goofy one-shot piece that I made for fun, because sometimes it's cool to take a break from being a perfectionist.)
