Nervous? No, This word cant even start to explain the way I was feeling right now. Caressing my bump I assured myself for the hundredth time. And collecting every bit of courage gave a light knock. I don't have any idea what will be the reaction of my parents after knowing about me being eight months pregnant and that too out of wedlock. I can hear my father's voice telling the person on the door to wait. The time stopped. But all of a sudden, I felt a large figure appearing from behind and standing tall on my left side. Looking above I found him. "What the hell are you doing here?" I hissed. My nervousness was turned into anger in seconds. "You know better." He answered. The door opened. I saw my father's confused eyes followed by his voice asking, "Jane?" But soon his eyes went onto my large belly. My father looked beyond shocked but before he could pass out Alex extended his hand saying, "Hello, Mr. Monroe, I am Alexander Black. Your son-in-law." I shot him a glance but deep down I knew I was at point zero, again. The story is the second part of Contract Marriage For 7 Days and cannot be read as stand alone novel.

But what happens when a certain successful tech company offers to provide the resources she needs to skyrocket her nonprofit to a new level, and in return, one nonprofit employee has to shadow the tech CEO for a few months? Will she be able to swallow her past after everything that has transpired and shadow the very same man she's spent the last four years avoiding? History has a funny way of repeating itself with secrets still tucked away waiting to be unleashed, but this time the passion is steamier, emotions intensified, attracting like magnets that were destined to meet up in the end. Is there really light at the end of the long dark tunnel, or is that an illusion they will both be forced to accept? *Sequel to Damage Control. Must read the first book.* ⚠️ [18+] Includes very mature content, cursing, and triggers, including talks about suicide. ⚠️

Alora and Becca Hendrix - Twin daughters of Jayson Hendrix and the heir to everything their family has built. Yet somehow, they manage to fall for two people who just might have more secrets than they do... Lynn and AJ are opposites. Sunshine personified and the grumpy asshole. Starting a new school isn't anything new to them - they move around a lot after all... What is new? The two girls who steal their attention and won't give it back. *** Being forced to work with the new kids was the last thing the girls wanted. Lynn and AJ weren't too eager to split up and work with random girls from their new class, either. Little did any of them know that a little school project would be the start to so much more... *** "Becca, I will break your heart.." I whisper to her, silently begging her to believe me, but a part of me is begging her not to. "I won't let you AJ," She whispers in response, and suddenly, her lips are on mine again. *** "I want the words, Alora," She whispers against my mouth. "I like you, Lynn.." I whisper back to her, struggling to keep my eyes off her lips. She tenses up, taking a sharp intake of breath, surprised despite the fact she knew what I was going to say. Then, one of her hands moves and grabs my jaw. One second, I'm waiting for her to say something. The next her lips are on mine. (Hendrix #7)

Count to three. Do not kill your boss. And do not fall in love with him. That's a good start, especially when you work for New York's most eligible bachelor with millions in one pocket and half of Manhattan's panties in the other. Not to mention those said pockets are always part of the most fitting suits any woman in the city would die to rip off. I would love to tear these stupid suits apart, too. To strangle him on them. Being Personal Assistant to Brandon Knox is walk through hell and back, usually ten to thousand times a day, seven days a week. Sadly for me, I have my reasons to put up with him. Which is where the counting comes in - to do his bidding, spare my teeth some gritting and not go nuts. His blue eyes may be able to buckle your knees and mess with your head, but there won't be any wobbling knees or spinning head for me. At least not for any other reason than exhaustion and overwork. Or so I thought. Because amidst all that counting, I forgot one important thing to count with. Count to three. Do not kill your boss. And do not, under any circumstances, fall in love with him.
