Let's take our current world, put it into the perspective of a rather peculiar sixteen year old boy, and add in the events that canonically took place in Splatoon. Somehow surviving, after an impossible amount of time and in an unlikely manner, he now finds himself living with an unfamiliar species' that now dominates the Earth, having almost no recollection of his life before. With the help of a few of the inhabitants there, he will have to overcome the challenges he now and will face, and do everything he can to familiarize with a world that has changed completely, for better or for worse... OC's (Brown/Jacob, Orange, ect.) belong to me. Callie, Marie, Capn' Cuttlefish, and other characters within the original game belong to Nintendo. The Alterra Corporation sent a ship named "The Aurora" out to the Ariadne Arm Galaxy to construct an interstellar Phasegate for advanced space travel. Before arriving at their destination, The Aurora made an emergency crash landing on an uncharted planet called 4546B. Only 1 crew member miraculously survived the crash; Non-Essentials System Maintenance Chief Ryley Robinson. Stranded light years away from civilization on a planet entirely covered in water, he'll have to use his wits, tools and the alien life to help him survive. It won't be long until he realizes he's not entirely alone after all.

The sole survivor of the vortex, Ryan Harrow, has been stranded on an ocean planet called 4546B for years. After a long time, a starship called the Aurora crashes and Ryan meets Emily Atkim. After gathering enough courage, they leave the safe shallows to find a way home and find some secrets about the people who were there before them. Im making this novel because I love subnautica and want to write a story while also including some of my ideas. The main storyline will pretty much stay the same though. Olivia Miller and Brooks Green were crew members aboard the largest ship launched by Alterra, the Aurora. The spacecraft was on its way to the Adrien Arm within Federation Space to construct a new phase gate. But a secretive side mission, which most of the crew was unaware of, was to be completed on the way. The Aurora was to preform a slingshot maneuver around an ocean planet but unexpectedly, it was shot down by a mysterious weapon. Olivia and Brooks were the only two survivors out of the entire crew. Now they needed to pull together to find some way off of the alien planet covered in oceans and inhabited by undiscovered creatures. But unknown to them, the planet was in serious danger from a bacteria floating within the waters. A mystery that would send Olivia and Brooks diving to the deepest part of the ocean in order to save this planet and themselves.
