Simon didn’t realize that he hadn’t hit the curb until he climbed out of his vehicle and discovered the young woman sprawled in front of his car. The woman was lying on the ground with blood seeping from a gash in her forehead, not responsive but definitely breathing. He quickly looked around and was relieved that the gas station was nearly empty. He knew from experience that no one inside could see him around the side of the building. He opened the driver’s side back seat door and tossed her in, closing the door behind her. He soared into the front seat deciding that “taking a leak” could wait.

Follow four sisters as they struggle through a childhood of neglect and danger. This is a true story, but I have changed names and slight details to protect them. I haven't overdramatized any part, added any parts, or sugar-coated any of it. This IS how it happened; the experiences they lived through. This story is based on memory which can be imperfect at times and therefore this story is only as truthful as humanly possible.

As she turned another corner in the labyrinth of halls, a shocking realization tore through her brain and caused her to stumble: he knew too much about her. She was so disoriented by the twisting halls that she wasn't sure if she was getting closer to freedom or back to where she started. She had just turned left down another hall when two hands reached out and grabbed her, one quickly reaching up to cover her mouth and stifle the shocked scream building in her lungs. She was pulled hard to a male body and her mind raced back to when her life had suddenly become this tangled mess...
