21 year old Y/N is having money trouble trying to take care of herself and her two younger brothers as her mom pulls 12 hour shifts at the hospital. One day she sees as an Ad on TV looking for a new Apex Legend. She believe it'd pay a lot and solve her problems and she applied. I opened the door to get in when a raven landed on the rolled-down window. I yelped as it pecked my hand and huffed out a curse. It cawed a few times before fluffing up. It turned its head sideways as it looked at me. The raven hissed and snapped its beak towards me and I took a step back into another body. I screamed out and turned around while forgetting about the raven. "I do not mean to scare you," The helmeted person from before was now in front of me, "Artur seems to have taken a liking to show off for you." I stared at the large goggles that were tilted down towards me. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. I quickly closed it as a quick nip landed on my underside. I jumped again and away from the rover. "Artur," The masked person seemed to purr to the bird, "Come, get out of their way." The raven sounded again before flapping its wings and taking flight away. I watched as it flew in a wide circle before landing on the shoulder of its owner. I turned my gaze back to the person. They seemed to watch me for a moment.
