Hearing that call "Officer Down" is something that can send anyone into a panic. Lucy gets shot while on a call with Aaron and Tim hears it over the radio and panics.

Tim had to take a life while on duty and he tried to handle it on his own but couldn't, so he went to Lucy's apartment. She was there with him through everything, nightmares, panic attacks.
