Drama and theater arts with Ms. Paige was never exciting. No one could ever seem to stay awake, but when Ms. Paige has enough, her whole class is now stuck doing the fall play. There's disputes between the play to be done and parts that'll be played. romances and rivalries take place on the stage. Ms. Paige has to keep her students from breaking each others legs in hopes that the fall play will go off without a hitch. Perhaps her biggest concern should be Thomas Olson and Newt Collins, those boys can't be within the same range of eachother without fighting. It was the 17th of October, 2015, when Thomas was checked into River State Mental hospital. He liked to think that he was insane, and maybe he really was. But a certain blonde with brown eyes made him wish he'd never get his sanity back, because being mental meant staying with him forever if he desired. That same blonde he found himself falling for, and maybe having barely any sanity left in himself and having someone equally insane right beside him meant that their love could be wild and reckless and completely, well, mental. And maybe that wasn't all too bad. This story is fiction made up by me, any resemblance to real life events are unintentional. Newt and Thomas are not my own characters. They belong to James Dashner. Neither is Stiles Stilinski, who belongs to Jeff Davis.

He acts like he doesn't care to the public but he truly longs to see the beautiful colors that Minho tells him about. Even more he longs for someone to love and someone to love him. Thomas is alone but unsearching. He doesn't mind the calm black and white of the world. It would be nice to have someone like his best friend Teresa but the world works in mysterious ways.

Newt has had many detective partners over the years. Some have been too bossy. Some too stupid. Some too arrogant. Some too touchy. And now he has a new one, and he's just hoping they'll be a little better than the ones before him. Thomas is happy to have lots of different partners. They always bring something new to the table, made it interesting. And now he's excited to have a new one. But, something more serious than their pretty squabbles and teasing will arise, and they must work together to figure out what's going on, and stop it before it blows out of their control.
