He took a step closer, studying her like she was some sort of priceless artifact. Kiara froze, her stature proud and stoic even as her gaze trained on the rocky cliff face behind the boy. Her heart thumped quickly. She was frightened of him. His voice was soft yet laced with passive aggression - oddly enthralling at the proximity. But she definitely couldn't think of that. His mouth curved upwards into a curious smirk as those bright forest eyes finally met hers.
